An interview with the distinguished writer Mai Qahtan

As we are accustomed to, dear readers, “Mawj Newspaper” features personalities who excelled in their field, and today our character’s name is associated with success and achievements. We will get to know them.

We begin the dialogue, and we wish you a fruitful reading.

《Name》: Mai Khalid Nevilipata.

《Age》:- 14 years.

《Governorate》:- Yemen/Taiz.

《Talent》:- Writing.

First, we would like a brief introduction to our venerable writer:

A loving girl, inclined to dreams full of imagination. I started my academic career in high school. I recently obtained the title of young writer, and I am still working to achieve that set goal. And without stopping.

《Q/ When? How did you get started in the field of writing? 》.

A year ago, my beginning was an abysmal and very remote one, and I did not imagine it to be this far in terms of purpose and valor to advance, or to obtain this authentic title. Perhaps I took it as a means to pave the way to survival and nothing more, or as a talent that I practice throughout my days with love.

《Q/ Who is the writer who was influenced by him and his writings? 》.

Khalil Gibran.

Q: Did you encounter difficulties in this field and how did you overcome them? 》.

great difficulties; But I got over it easily, because I used this field as a place to relax for a weak soul, and another window to express the contents of my eyes and my dreams.

Q: Who is your biggest supporter? 》.

My immortal father.

《Q/ Do you agree with this saying, “If you want to be an inspired writer, be an immersive reader,” and is there a relationship between reading and writing? 》.

I strongly agree, if you are not a reader first, it is better for you not to write.

Q: What are your achievements in this field? 》.

I participated in several e-books, two paper books, and an individual book of Nevelipata Messages, and I obtained certificates and shields from competitions in which I participated.

Q: In your view, writing is a talent or a skill that can be learned? 》.

Writing is indeed a spiritual talent, and an art that comes from the bottom, but it is possible to create and learn, for example, if you read a lot, and fight many battles filled with difficulty and sorrow, and endure calamities towards you, and receive them with open arms, and consider them; Then there is no harm in becoming a brilliant writer, stronger than the owner of the talent.

《Q/ Do you accept criticism or not? 》.

I accept it and embrace it.

《Q/ What motivates you to write and what inspires your pen? 》.

I find solitude in my soul, and I overflow with it intensely. What inspires my pen is my father’s love for me and his joy in what I do.

《Q/ What are the characteristics of an ideal writer, in your view? 》.

The ideal writer is the one who has decisive and educated theories in his arsenal, and who carries the quality of interest and sound opinion.

Q: Do you have other talents? 》.

Drawing a little.

Q: From your point of view, how does a writer transform from a naturally gifted writer into a professional writer? 》.

When he seeks to acquire ideas and rules, and dives into the folds of that talent, and plows without setting up, and his sober mind revolves around every situation he approaches.

《Q/ A word you would like to direct to the next generation towards writing:-》.

Reading, read a lot.

Q: Can you tell us about your future plans? 》.

I aspire to write a political book that reaches the external level.

Q: Are you satisfied with your level or do you want to advance further? 》.

I am satisfied with where I am, but I really want progress, and I will continue to seek progress even if I achieve great successes.

《Q/ Do you prefer writing in classical or colloquial? 》.

In classical Arabic

.

《Q/ Can we see some of your distinguished writings? 》.

naturally.

She looked at his strange features with eyes

Until the embarrassment passed, followed by fear.

- May the immortal Nevilibatta.

-What do you think about this saying? To be a successful person in your life, you will face some problems and you will fail at times. Do you think this is true or is there no relationship between success and failure?

A very big relationship. There is no success without stumbling, without falling and failing. Shame on those who are frustrated and believe that problems are an obstacle to writing.

《Q/ In the end, I would like to know what is your comment on this dialogue, and do you have a word you would like to direct to the newspaper? 》.

A wonderful dialogue. Many thanks to all of you who are responsible for this dialogue. I wish you good luck and an innovative future.

In conclusion, we hope that we have made you happy, and we wish you many thanks and respect.
